This travelogue from 1979 showcases the southern state of Alabama. We’re shown man-made landmarks and natural wonders, along with actors in period costume doing their best to reenact historic people and events. You’ll see paddle wheel river boats, marching bands, hot air balloons, stately plantation homes, a battleship, a NASCAR track, “space soldiers,” and a wave pool. Written, produced, directed and edited by Howard Berkowitz, narrated by Marvin Miller, copyright 1979 by Cornucopia Productions, Ltd., and distributed by the State of Alabama’s tourism promotion board.
