Mend a Winter Jacket with Sashiko | Visible Mending

I mended this jacket with Sashiko stitches - a Japanese way of embroidery. It is great living in the countryside. We made so many friends in our back yard: we play music for the deers, feed the squirrels with nuts, and this summer I want to plant a lot of flowers so that birds and bees can be happy. However, there is another friend that we don’t want—Dima’s jacket was destroyed by a mouse in our previous house. I did a quick job after the accident, but it was ugly. However, now with the Sashiko pieces being mended, the jacket is back to life again.
