Francis is self-centered, resents parts of Bill’s leadership and often treats Louis dismissively. Louis was originally conceived as an assistant manager at a local retail electronics chain. However, his role was later changed to a Junior Systems Analyst in his company’s IT department. His attire resembles a typical businessman, echoing Shaun from Shaun of the Dead with a red tie and white shirt, both indicative of his former position. Zoey was in her first year of college before the outbreak. She was studying movie making on a scholarship. Her parents were divorced and she had a closer relationship with her father, a city police officer. Left 4 Dead 2 - 7:55 Coach, a forty-four-year-old Physical Education teacher, works at the local high school in his hometown of Savannah. Once a prospective professional defensive lineman, a knee injury in college ended his playing career and redirected him to teaching, with hopes of eventually becoming a professional football coach. Ellis seems to lack understanding of the seriousness of his situation and maintains a goofy personality compared to the other Survivors. He might be trying to keep the group’s spirits up, similar to Louis. As the youngest, Ellis has a naive, childlike perspective on the new world, making him the ’little brother’ of the group. He also develops a love interest in Zoey when he first meets her in The Passing. Nick wears an expensive white suit with a blue button-down shirt, several gold rings and brown leather shoes. Nick is initially negative and pessimistic about the situation and the three strangers he must team up with. Over time, his hard-boiled attitude softens as he gradually learns to trust his fellow survivors. Rochelle, a twenty-nine-year-old minor associate producer at a highly reputable news station, primarily handled tasks like moving cables and fetching coffee.
