Homebody | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Homebody is a game I was very excited about covering. The game is produced by the GameGrumps who I have been watching for many years. Even to this day I still tune in whenever they play a Sonic game or other funny and obscure titles. They have produced a game before in the form of Dream Daddy, but Homebody is a very different thing. Homebody is an homage to retro horror games, but not in the most common form. When developers talk about retro horror games they often talk about Resident Evil, but Homebody takes inspiration from games like Clock Tower and Alone in the Dark and gives a nice twist to that formula by introducing a timeloop. We play as Emily who is headed to a large hut in the woods to watch a meteor shower with her friends. She soon finds out that the house holds all kinds of dark secrets and by solving puzzles we head deeper and deeper in an unnerving mystery.
