Topson, or in this case Topdad, has in 2021 spent 6 months bootcamping away from his family this year as TI kept getting canceled and postponed. 6 months for the father of a one year old, represents half of your entire child’s life that you missed and will never get back. Topias is an extremely professional competitor and in that regard wished to give anything that was needed from him to have the best chances to succeed at TI10, including a lot of his own time. But as the sacrifices keep piling up, he realized the value of what he was actually giving away and has expressed the need to take time away from competition to be with his loved ones, take the time to be a dad, and find the joy to play Dota 2 purely for fun again.
