(In the Closet is a song by American singer Michael Jackson released on May 8, 1992 and extracted as a third single from the 1991 Dangerous album. The moonwalk is not a break dance move. It is called “moonwalk“ (literally “walking on the moon“) because it consists of moving backwards giving the illusion of walking forward, as in zero gravity. According to some exponents of the b-boying movement, the moonwalk would be a side step that forms a circular movement, using the same principles of this step, which would be called, instead, “backslide“.
