Constantine the Great- By This Sign

Constantine had been a sun worshipping pagan but said that he was converted to Christianity when he saw a ’sign’ in the sky (the Greek letters chi and rho, which are the first two letters of ChRist along with a ’cross’). He believed that God told him “YOU SHALL CONQUER WITH THE SIGN OF THE CHRISTIAN CROSS“. Now we know that Jesus Himself did not teach His followers to ’conquer’. Instead He said things like “He who lives by the sword will die by the sword“ Matthew 26:52; “Turn the other cheek“; and “Pray for those who despitefully use you. In other words, I do NOT think that God told the pagan sun-worshipping Constantine to conquer anyone. Here is a little video clip of the event that changed historians do believe that a comet went through the sky at a critical moment and that Constantine based his battle plans on that Constantine DID win that battle even though the odds were stacked heavily against him. Constantine is important because he became the Emperor of Rome and even though he was a sun-worshipper he was friendly toward Christianity. He is the one who called the churches together in 325 AD to decide when to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Here was Constantine’s decision (although he was only the Emperor and in reality should have had nothing to do with church doctrine). And so the Roman Emperor Constantine made sure that the Biblical Passover date was dropped from the church calender and the pagan Easter was adopted. Rome hated the Jews, and we know this because Rome crucified our Lord. In 325 AD there were many Jewish Christians who still held to the passover and who worshipped Jesus Christ. James, Peter and Paul were all Jewish Christians who observed the Passover and NOT the pagan holiday called Easter. They never heard of Easter, nor did Jesus during His earthly life. And so now, should we observe Easter or should we observe the Passover and Firstfruits (the day the Lord was resurrected)? Why should we follow Constantine, especially if we are no longer ignorant? Constantine was minting coins with “Sol Invictus“ on them in 340 AD. Sol Invictus means “The Sun is Victor“. Easter is the name of a sun-goddess, the equinox sets Constantines dating of Easter, and the equinox has all to do with the sUn. Makes one wonder about sUnrise services etc...
