Russia: Female soldiers march for first time at Moscow Victory Day Parade

The Moscow Victory Day Parade kicked off on Monday at exactly local time, marking the 71st anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe. The parade was led by Moscow Military Music College cadets, followed by cadets from Russia’s military academies, including those of the Ground Forces, the Navy and the Air Force. This years’s parade for the first time featured female cadets, of The Military University of the Russian Defence Ministry and the ’Khrulev’ Military Academy of Material and Tech
