Pumpkin Prince Amumu - League of Legends Painting Process Timelapse

__________________________________ In Collaboration with Riot Games Client: Riot Games Riot Games AD: Jessica Oyhenart West Studio AD: Mingchen Shen Final Polish: League Splash Team __________________________________ 2nd time to paint Amumu! This was a fun splash to work on because of the whimsical theme. The goal was to show Amumu trying to play with his pumpkin family who are just regular pumpkins. My initial idea for this was Amumu having a tea party using random garbage as his props. Then I had this seesaw idea which got chosen. For the pumpkin faces, I based them on LoL plushies. This splash came through very fast because this skinline was already very established and I had good references for all the materials and lighting. Unfortunately, just like my first amumu splash, I still lacked the exaggeration of his sadness and Riot made his eyes a lot more expressive on the final version.
