Start of the last coal mine to be sunk under private enterprise in Fyfe, Scotland. MS The Union Jack flying over the plot where the pit will be sunk. MS Mr Carlow (sp?) chairman of the Fyfe Coal Company digs the first sod of the new pit with a silver spade. CU Mr Carlow.
