Risking My Hands to Test the Mordhau (Murder Stroke)!

Is it really safe to grab a sword by the blade and use it as an improvised bludgeon against a knight’s armor? Or were these medieval folks just crazy? @scholagladiatoria Challenge accepted! :) The video that inspired me to do this: Why I HATE the longsword MURDER STRIKE! DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. Messing around with sharp swords is risky, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. For this video I put education and entertainment before my own safety. Did I get injured?
