Live: Ice dragon boat racing spices up the winter fun

The “2024 China Jilin City Ice Dragon Boat Open Tournament,“ organized by the Chinese Dragon Boat Association, takes place in Jilin City in northeastern China’s Jilin Province. Twenty-four dragon boat teams from across the country compete in a straight track race on the ice. Ice dragon boat racing is an innovative version of the traditional dragon boat racing. It retains the technical and competitive aspects of traditional dragon boat racing while breaking the seasonal limitations, adding more excitement to the sport.
