The Mario Lanza Show ()

One of the more popular radio programs sponsored by Coca-Cola was “The Mario Lanza Show.  This show premiered on air June 10th, 1951 on the CBS radio network (later moving to NBC) and featured opera singer & romantic film star Mario Lanza. It is interesting to note that while the show originally aired in the US, copies were distributed to Coca Cola offices around the world. The guest artists and advertorials have been edited out of these programs for the most part. I am indeed indebted to Steve Cutler for making this beautiful series available. This program aired July 8th 1951.
