Cheers Love is a record that is in large part “about loving and losing … but ultimately choosing to remain hopeful about the possibilities” says Cook. Musically the album was largely inspired by classic singer-songwriter & 70s folk rock albums. More contemporary artist references include Sufjan Stevens, Andy Shauf, Wilco and Bedouine. Alongside Hello Moon, other tracks to highlight include Passing Fad, Somebody Else, Little Truth, Chin Up & Parade. Production duties are handled by Cook with Julian Simmons (A Girl Called Eddy, Ed Sheeran) who also mixed the album. Drums are by Martyn Kaine (Nitin Sawnhey, Amy Winehouse). About Paul Cook & The Chronicles : Born and raised in London, Paul Cook has been making music since he could hold a guitar. Inspired by classic sixties guitar pop, seventies west coast Americana, Britpop, and innovative contemporary pop and rock ’n’ roll, his songwriting is always evolving, but at its core it remains melancholic and warm-hearted. 🛋️ 📮 submission : contact @ Accoustic, indie folk, dream pop, singer songwriter, indie bedroom lofi pop
