are you insane like me? - Loki x Wanda

Song: Gasoline Artist: Halsey Movies Used: The Avengers, Thor, Thor 2: The Dark World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War Plot: Loki and Wanda bond over being freaks and outcasts, while helping one another recovered from the events of their past. They also are often made to face the consequences of what the other has done, all the people they’ve killed (by accident or otherwise). This was all done in secret, until Fury discovers them while undercover. Wanda prevents Loki from killing him, and instead convinces his mind that she killed Loki in front of them, allowing them both to escape and seek freedom elsewhere. ALL MY THUMBNAILS SUCK. UGH. This idea came to me with the single line “my heart is cold“ (Loki) “and my hands are cold“ (Wanda). I told you guys I’d be vidding with them more! I actually really like how this one came out, it’s a lot simpler than my more recent videos and I really am proud of the end result. Some extra insight on the relationship I tried to portray here: I like to think Wanda never really healed right, especially after what she did to Fury, a good guy, and abandoning the Avengers. “My hands are cold“ to me really felt like she was saying her powers are merciless, and her heart belongs to Loki with “My heart is gold.“ So Loki feels guilty over what she had to give up for him, and doesn’t really feel obligated to fix her sense of morality (stones at glass houses and all that). So while in my video they genuinely love one another, they also wouldn’t turn out to be the best of people in the end. Sad times. If you read all this, thanks! Hope you enjoy!
