José Carreras said farewell to the Bulgarian audience in an emotive concert at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, accompanied by soprano Anna Aglatova and more than 60 musicians of the Sofia Symphonic Orchestra conducted by David Giménez. During the concert he was honored with the “Golden Age“ award, the highest recognition of the Ministry of Culture and a certificate of merit for the development and promotion of art and culture.
