A Champion’s Spirit

In 1950, a precociously talented 18-year-old joined Royal Enfield. John Victor Brittain, universally known as Johnny Brittain, was to become its star rider. On his famous Works Trials Bullet, registration number HNP 331, Johnny won every major British Trials trophy and picked up a succession of ISDT gold medals, bringing his tally to 13 gold medals over 15 years.
