TikTok star viciously attacked and nearly blinded by her own CAT – leaves viewers terrified

TikTok user has shared the disturbing moment her own cat viciously attacked her face. We all know our furry companions can be unfriendly at times, however this ferocious feline left Valeria Carruyo, 19, with a shocking injury after scratching her just a millimetre from her eye. The content creator took to the social media platform recently to show off her cat Lucas, with the clip now having racked up over 181.9 million views. In the graphic clip, blood can be seen pouring from the 19-year-old’s skin just seconds after she began recording a video of her holding the seemingly calm pet. She believes that her false eyelashes may have triggered the incident. The video has generated a mixed response online, with some users accusing Valeria of abusing her own pet. “Some other people were accusing me of mistreating my cat and that’s why he scratched me, but not at all,“ Valeria told . “I love my cat; I’d never do anything bad to him. “He’s very playful and has a lot of energy, he’s still very young so he’s very curious. “I was filming a TikTok with my cat, and he, out of nowhere, went for my eye and scratched my under eye. “On that video, I was filming with him for a while, so I guess he was stressed out and he scratched me? “If you look carefully, he was looking at my eye before scratching me so maybe my eyelashes made him do that.“ The 19-year-old now has dark bruising around her eye. She added: “The response was definitely what I expected. “Most people were saying why they don’t like cats, why they’re team dogs.“ The video, which has racked up 14.4 million likes, has left Valeria’s followers concerned, with one user commenting: “You’re so lucky that wasn’t your eye.“ “Cat’s are friendly, they say,“ said another person wrote. Someone else added: “That’s why I’m a fish person.” “Is it really your cat? It looks like it doesn’t trust you. My cats are never like that. Try to slowly gain their trust.
