Little Feat - You’ll Be Mine (Official Lyric Video)

Little Feat have composed an album that’s their love letter to the blues entitled, ‘Sam’s Place.’ “You’ll Be Mine” plus many other blues classics are on this album. You can pre save & pre-order ‘Sam’s Place’ here: “You’ll Be Mine” was written by blues legend, Willie Dixon. It has Sam Clayton on lead vocals, Bill Payne on piano, Kenny Gradney on bass, Fred Tackett on electric guitar, Scott Sharrard on slide guitar and backing vocals, and Tony Leone on drums. This song also features special guests Marc Franklin on trumpet and Art Edmaiston on saxophone. The ‘Sam’s Place’ album has Sam on lead vocals for the entire record. The album was recorded in Memphis, TN at Sam Phillip’s Studio. It’s got classic blues songs by legends such as Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon, plus a new original song called “Milkman” that was written by Sam, Fred and Scott. The album also features guest vocals by Bonnie Raitt on the song, “Long Distance Call.” Speaking of Bonnie, it was her suggestion for Little Feat to cut “You’ll Be Mine” for this record. It’s a real barn burner that allows Bill to tear up the old Sam Philips Studios piano that Jerry Lee Lewis played, and it fits Sam’s vocal perfectly. We hope you enjoy it as much as Little Feat enjoyed recording it! Pre-order ‘Sam’s Place’ here Stream “You’ll Be Mine“ here Produced by Little Feat and Charles A.
