Ball juggling by Julian Saether from Norway | IJA Tricks of the Month

This series is part of eJuggle, the IJA’s online juggling resource: Heyyy, my name is Julian. I’m from Norway and I’ve been juggling for more than 20 years. Coming into the circus world at age 15, I especially love the performing aspect of juggling. ORANGE WORLD shows research I found when I had just moved down to Toulouse and my world seemed to crumble around me as the pandemic was hitting and all my projects and relationship fell apart and most of my friends were so far away. I started hosting online juggling conventions and pushing the technique I call Bent Elbow Stalls or BES. This is when my elbow is out to the side and BESi (BESinside) is the stall where elbow is close to the body. Pushing this technique and sharing it with my friends online helped me to not feel so alone.
