Anton Baranov; Francesco Molino - Guitar concerto op. 56, II & III mvts.

II Mov: Maestoso molto. Andante 00:02 III Mov: Rondo 04:36 Born in Torino in 1768 Francesco Molino moved to Paris in 1820. Beside the guitar he played oboe and violin and wrote lots of chamber music for these fact his 2dn violin concerto was performed by the famous Rudolf Kreutzer speaks for Molino’s high level of writing for this instrument. Later Molino switched totally to the violin due to the declining of public’s interest to the guitar. He died in 1847. Speaking of the style and other references, I personally hear lots of Haydn and, may be a bit of Boccherini influences in his guitar concerto, especially in the final part.
