Kitchen Hats (1959)

South Molton Street, London. Madge Chard has a whacky range of hats inspired by her kitchen. Designer Madge Chard is seen in her typical 1950’s kitchen, including lovely gaudy print curtains, a sink area with white tiles and plenty of pipes showing. She is wearing a brightly coloured print shirt and is drying up a colander and looking at it. She takes it into her living area and places it upside down on a wine bottle. She starts to sketch it.
