NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 Night 1 Review Headlined by Shingo Takagi defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Kazuchika Okada, this year’s edition of New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s premiere event, Wrestle Kingdom, may not have had the fanfare of the last several years, but there was still quality wrestling on this show. Hiromu Takahashi would also challenge for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against El Desperado and the Chaos team of Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI would try to dethrone reigning tag team champions The Dangerous Tekkers.
