59/60 59:46 Multi-Blind World Record [Former] -- Graham Siggins

What can I say? I’m so happy with this result!! Bumped WR from 49 points to 58 in one comp, the biggest point jump in MBLD WR history! This attempt is my 5th best result EVER -- I’ve done 58 points at home 5 times before this but this one is slower than 4 of those. Also, my 3 results from this comp were 57/60 59:05 59/60 59:46 58/60 1:00:00 meaning I got a mean of 3 in one competition! A mo3 7 points higher than my previous WR single, and this also ties my PB mo3 that I got a few weeks ago :))) I don’t know what else to say, I’m just overjoyed with my performance at this competition, and I’m super excited to push this event even further. Over 70 points in 2020, I promise ;) Link to the full, unedited video if you care to watch that: Memorization time: 39:56 = memo/cube. Nothing special, because I reviewed everything one more time than I normally do Execution time: 19:50 = exec/cube. Pretty good! I seem to average around this when I do safe reviews like I did on this attempt. DNF: Completely forgot the corners on one cube :( This cube was one of the last cubes I memorized, and I memorize those really short term relative to the rest, and then solve those first, for efficiency’s sake. But I guess I was just reaaaally nervous at this point, and I couldn’t concentrate as well as I needed to while reviewing this cube. The memo just completely fell out of my brain Memo splits: Memo review 1-8: 2:44 Memo review 9-16: 2:57 Review 1-16: 1:56 Memo review 17-24: 2:50 Memo review 25-32: 2:49 Review 17-32: 2:01 Review 1-32: 4:13 Extra review of 1-32: 4:25 Memo review 33-40: 3:00 Memo review 41-48: 2:53 Review 33-48: 2:07 Extra review of 33-48: 2:05 Memo review 49-56: 2:55 Extra review of 49-56: 1:08 Memo review 57-59: 1:13 Extra review 57-59: 0:22 Memo 60: 0:16 ------------------------------------------------------------- Cubes: all Weilong GTSv1 (non-magnetic) My WCA profile: Instagram: @siggstagraham My twitch: My list of PBs: #gid=0 My BLD commutator/algorithms list (3x3-5x5!): #gid=1086107531
