The Cambodia’s 3rd largest and most modern ring road ll Drive Tour

Cambodia’s third largest and most modern ring road will soon take shape. Built on January 14, 2019. The groundbreaking ceremony for the important transportation and travel of Cambodians was presided over by Prime Minister Hun Sen and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian. The construction of the Third Ring Road (National Road No. 4-National Road No. 1) is located in Phnom Penh and Kandal Province, with a total length of nearly 53 km, including more than 15 km through Phnom Penh and Kandal Province. Nearly 38 km, starting at km 14 105 of National Road No. 4 and ending at km 24 840 of National Road No. 1. Road width up to 27 meters for downtown, for out of town, road width is 25 meters. The road will have street lights for city streets and ornamental trees for suburban roads. The third ring road will have four flyovers (crossing National Roads 4, 3, 2 and 21) with a total length of 1,000 meters. Construction of 2 bridges across the Bassac River at Anlong Chen Island with a total length of 996 meters (including the 630-meter-long East Bassac Bridge and the 366-meter-long West Bassac Bridge). Construction of 6 medium and short bridges and 113 sewers of all kinds. The road project will cost a total of 273 million US dollars, a concessional financing from the Chinese government, and the Royal Government of Cambodia contributes to the impact of demining and unexploded ordnance, taxes and royalties.
