Rebekah Del Rio: Nobody’s Angel / Llorando

Rebekah Del Rio brings the room to a standstill with her breathtaking singing at the 25th Anniversary WEA Convention. Performing “Nobody’s Angel“ with the legendary singer/songwriter Randy Sharp on guitar, she followed that with “Llorando“, a spellbinding Spanish a cappella version of Roy Orbison’s song “Crying“. This performance was before Ms. Del Rio’s epic performance of the song in David Lynch’s film “Mulholland Drive“ and was during the country phase of her deeply moving and storied career. The introduction to Ms. Del Rio’s set gives fascinating insight into how she got her short lived country record deal with Giant Records in Nashville and the underrated genius of this most phenomenal woman.
