Cripple Creek / Cumberland Gap - Old-Time banjo

Played on a reproduction 1840s minstrel banjo. The style is a mix of pre-Civil War minstrel stroke with old-time frailing & clawhammer. In a recent conversation, I talked about how songs can be played together if they are similar in rhythm, tempo, and general feel; here’s a good (in my opinion!) example.
