Young Guns - ’Enjoy [Radio Edit]’ (1998)

Pow! was a dance label owned and ran by Paul Gotel, with Rob Davis (Kylie, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Atomic Kitten) as the in-house studio engineer. The label only lasted a couple of years, between 1998-99. ’Enjoy’, based around a sample of WHAM!’s ’WHAM Rap (Enjoy What You Do?)’ (UK #8 1983), was the label’s second release, by Gotel and Davis under the Young Guns alias. The track was championed on BBC Radio 1 by Judge Jules, who played a white label of the original mix, but despite this endorsement, the official 1998 release didn’t enjoy a chart position.
