. The Native American Holocaust began with the Arawak Taino. The Arawak Taino inhabited the Caribbean Islands and were the first to be called “Indian“. in 1492 the indigenous Arawak inhabited the territories from the island of Puerto Rico up to Middle Georgia. The Taino are the tribe of first contact and the ones who discovered Columbus wandering lost in the ocean.
