Electro vinyl cutting session: KALSON “SOLARNI SISTEM“ (Dominance Electricity)

Behind the scenes at the Schnittstelle mastering & vinyl cut studio in Berlin: Audio engineer Andreas Kauffelt sets up the heavy lacquer cutting machine for the next Electro release on Dominance Electricity: KALSON feat. Direct Control “SOLARNI SISTEM“. This video shows the first step of transferring the mastered music onto vinyl. These cuts into two soft 14-inch lacquer discs are then used by the vinyl pressing plant to produce the negative metallic stampers via electroplating.
