Navalny death: World leaders react to news, condemn Putin

World leaders have expressed a range of emotions following reports from Russian prison officials on Friday about the death of Alexei Navalny, the fiercest critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The U.S. President, Canada’s Prime Minister, Ukraine’s President, NATO’s General Secretary have all issued statements highlighting Navalny’s courage in the face of adversity and condemning Putin for his brutality. “Make no mistake, Putin is responsible for Navalny’s death...
