Gran Turismo 7 - Lightweight K Cup - Tokyo Expressway South Clockwise Race & Strategy Guide

Welcome to my guide to winning the Lightweight K-Cup Race around Tokyo Expressway South Clockwise on Gran Turismo 7. The Car I used for this race was the Honda S660 Here are a list of upgrade you need to buy from the Tuning Shop: Comfort Soft Tyres Fully Customisable Suspension Fully Customisable Differential Fully Customisable ECU Ballast Power Restrictor Fully Customisable Racing Transmission Medium RPM Turbocharger Racing Intercooler Racing Air Cleaner Racing Silencer Racing Exhaust Manifold Carbon Brake System Racing Brake Pads Racing Clutch & Flywheel Bore Up Stroke Up Engine Balance Tuning Polish Ports High Lift Camshaft Weight Reduction 1, 2 & 3 You will also need to go to GT Auto and buy a front wing, side wing and a rear wing to be able to adjust the downforce in the tuning menu, without those upgraded wings the downforce tuning is greyed out and cannot be changed. Here a list of changes you need to do in the Tuning Menu: SUSPENSION CHANGES: Body Height Adjustment - Front - 109 Rear - 107 Anti Roll Bar - Front - 5 Rear - 1 Damping Ratio (Expansion) - Front - 45 Rear - 45 Natural Frequency - Front - Rear - Negative Camber Angle - Front 1.7 - Rear 1.7 Toe Angle - Front - Rear - DIFFERENTIAL CHANGES: Initial Torque - Rear 14 Acceleration Sensitivity - 40 Braking Sensitivity - Rear 13 DOWNFORCE CHANGES: Front - 35 Rear - 95 PERFORMANCE ADJUSTMENT: ECU Output Adjustment - 98 Ballast - 167 Ballast Positioning - -50 Power Restrictor - 70 TRANSMISSION CHANGES: Top Speed - 160 Manual Adjustment (Change ‘Final’ first before any other numbers) 1st - 2nd - 3rd - 4th - 5th - 6th - FInal Once you have changed all of those check the numbers on the left under the picture of the car to see if they match or are as close as you can get them to mine. The Honda S600 is in my opinion one of if not the best Kei Car that’s easy to get, you can buy it in Brand Central unlike some of the other Kei Cars which may be better in some scenarios but with the right setup this car is really good. This setup I have showed above is all about keeping the car stable more than pure speed. It feels really good in the corners and can fuel save really well which doesn’t necessarily help us in this race but you could use this same setup for the Human Comedy Mission around Autopolis that features Kei Cars. These cars can be tricky to drive but with setup it should keep the car under control through slow and fast speed corners on wheel or controller. This race is a 3 Lap Sprint Race around Tokyo Expressway South Clockwise, the race doesn’t require any fuel saving or pit stops to change tyres so just push your way through the traffic to win the race. Make sure you take advantage of slip streaming on the long back straight. I have the Traction Control set to level 2 for this race but that’s personal preference and you can choose whatever setting you want, although having it set higher will cost you time so its worth getting used to a low level of Traction Control or turning it off all together would be even better. If you have any questions or are struggling with the strategy please comment below and I will do my best to help you. The difficulty of the AI for this race was set to Intermediate so I am not sure whether the strategy will work for the harder difficulty but if it doesn’t let me know in the comments below and I will do my best to give you some advice.
