How to run Steam on Windows XP and Vista in 2022 (Credit to Shark Vader) (NO LONGER WORKS 10/26/23)

Hello everyone! Today, I will show you how to run an older version of Steam on Windows XP and Vista. Unfortunately, as it stands now, I couldn’t get downloads to work, but in an upcoming video, I will show you how to transfer the games over from your Windows 7 or higher computer. Also, if I find an updated file so games can be downloaded again, I will update this description with the link to that particular file. Just the other day, I was looking for Shark Vader’s video on this, from March of 2021, and when I went through a comment on the Steam Nov 26 2018 package, from , the video said it was removed for violating YouTube’s ToS. Now, I honestly don’t know if that was a mistake or not, but that is the main reason why I did this video, in honor of Shark Vader’s video on this. It worked so well for me, and lucky for me, I was still able to access the old Steam package that he had a link to (to his Google Drive), and the file, so I uploaded both of them to my google drive, just in case he removes them. Link to Shark Vader’s channel: Last supported Steam package on XP and Vista: file: The file should be on your computer already, under the appcache folder in your Steam directory. As of 10/26/2023, this no longer works.
