I watched the analysis of comrades @rybar and [club221012943|@NeoficialniyBeZsonoV] on the air [club52620949|@SolovievLive]
Misha @rybar visited Minsk last week and shared his impressions on his profile - informative.
It’s paradoxical, but I agree with both Mikhail and Daniil to some extent. The main point is that there are indeed failures in the information system in Belarus. One of the points raised is the issue of controlled opposition. Let me elaborate a bit on what Mikhail @rybar is talking about.
When he discusses the activities of the so-called Fontanka in Russia, using Belarus as an example, Misha is referring to the fact that we promptly blocked and expelled all extremist media involved in coordinating protests and shaping the agenda of Western countries. They implemented the ban, but what about the audience who regularly read blocked resources? They won’t immediately turn to pro-state media. This is where the “criticize - suggest“ principle comes into play.
This is where Daniil [club221012943|@NeoficialniyBeZsonoV] comes in and reasonably points out that they are trying to address the problem. Yes, they do see the problem. However, as far as I understand, it is only visible at the level of middle managers. We really need to adapt to modern realities and learn from the experience of a controlled opposition media environment. For now, as Mikhail puts it, we are going back to the pre-protest year of 2019, when “everything was good.“
It’s time to roll up our sleeves and work hard.
