Dakar Rally 2018. The start and early troubles / Старт и первые трудности

The Dakar-2018 has taken off! The start was rocky – “Astana”´s captain, Artur Ardavichus finished 16th of the stage due to minor issues with transmission. Good that the problem revealed early – there is plenty of time to fix and repair it all. The Dakar has claimed its first victim at stage 1– the Portugese bike pilot withdrew due to vertebral fracture – thus affirming its title of the most dangerous race on the planet.
