The film, which was taken home by a NASA contractor and stored in a garage, was exposed to high humidity and/or high heat. The dyes on the Kodachrome film became liquified, and have separated from the emulsion and re-solidified. The film is severely damaged as a result, but while the visuals here are barely recognizable, what’s left has a beautiful, psychedelic, aspect of its own that is worth a watch!
