He started life as an actor on Birmingham-based soap Doctors. But Jack O’Connell has been tipped for Hollywood greatness following his role in American war drama Unbroken. The film is the third directed by actress Angelina Jolie, who Jack describes as a “phenomenal” boss. “She put her neck out for me and I wanted to at least validate that with a good performance,” he said.
