Creepy 1961 Computer Sings DAISY (HAL’S song from 2001)!

This is “DAISY“ as you’ve never heard it before. Most sci-fi fans will recognize this song as HAL’S last gasp before being deactivated in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. But few know that this was an insider joke: the first computer to “sing“ this song was programmed in 1961. I’ve added a visual of a very creepy robot imitating human speech. PLEASE NOTE: For those calling this “fake“! This video consists of two unrelated videos (links posted below) from 2008-09. I put the two together to see what it would look/sound like. A SAD NOTE: this amazing rubber robot no longer exists. It was melted down to make condoms in 1993.
