This ’65 drop top was a “C-code” car originally (V8 with 2bbl carburetor) and was completely nut-and-bolt restored to its current condition- a literal show winner that includes a top-tier “Award of Excellence” at the Mustang 40th Anniversary event. This 1965 Mustang is a triple black car that has “Raven Black” exterior with a black power convertible top and black vinyl interior with the desirable Pony Package. Check out those sweet 17inch chrome wheels with custom made Shelby GT350 center decals too! They really set off this build while the 4-wheel SSBC stainless steel power disk brakes with slotted rotors and red powder coated calipers just show you how much attention to detail was put into this 1965 Ford Mustang convertible. The numbers-matching 289 CID V8 block was rebuilt on this car with many high quality and performance upgrades added during the restoration such as a Holley 570 Street Avenger 4bbl carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum heads and an MSD electronic ignition. A 5-speed T5 manual transmission has been mated to the small-block Ford V8 and comes with a high-performance racing clutch and a Steeda short-throw shifter to get this all-black Pony moving as quick as your heart desires. A Ford 9” Currie rear end with gears makes the perfect balance for snappy acceleration and cruising.
