Here’s how to tie a March Brown dry fly in less than 60 seconds.
This is another early season favourite - and can bring fish up in those chilly days when you wonder if anything is going to come up for a dry at all!
It’s great fished as either a 12 or 14, dependant on the size of the insects hatching on tour local river.
Trim out the under hackle to make it sit more upright in the film - or leave them long and fish it like a crippled insect trapped in the surface layers.
