Michel Legrand Les Moulins de Mon Coeur Montage French & English Subtitles Windmills of My Mind

Known to us in America as The Windmills of My Mind,, this award winning song first came to us in a movie, The Thomas Crown Affair, in 1968. Music by the late, great Michel Legrand, is sung here by the composer in French as Les Moulins de Mon Coeur. French lyrics are by Eddie Marnay,, known to us as lover of and collaborator with Piaf. I think of the four chambers of the heart that circulate the blood, powered by the wind from the lungs, which does make the heart seem like a windmill.. Many similes in the lyrics echo the circular spinning of the blades. Thanks to philipchek , native Frenchman, for help and information needed to make this video.
