Zakir put on an extremely memorable perfomance in his hometown bay area. I inlcuded some of his pre concert talk at the end of the footage. I’ll never forget seeing planet drum back in ’88, Zakir is the master. I miss Hamza El Din and Baba Olatunji. Many thanks to Mickey Hart for introducing me to his work.
