A team of researchers and baseball fans at the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia is using baseballs to help improve computer simulations that advance aerospace technologies. One of those team members, Computational Aerodynamicist Brent Pomeroy, steps up to the plate and explains how his research on aerodynamics applies to America’s favorite pastime and NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS).
