Accomplished DJ and producer Damion ’Damo’ Houchen, . Genix, has kept momentum high since the release of his debut album, ‘199X’, in 2021. Recent years have seen the Anjunabeats linchpin close Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge Amphitheatre, launch his club-oriented ‘Warehouse55’ EP series and event brand, and sell out two headline Warehouse55 events in London and Los Angeles. Genix’s last EP on Anjunabeats, ‘Warehouse55 (Volume 2)’, earned support from Sasha, John Digweed, Joris Voorn, Rebūke, Armin van Buuren and more. He followed that up last year with an extensive North American tour, as well as with remixes of Andrew Bayer & Vök’s ‘No Silence’ and OceanLab’s ‘Beautiful Together’. Born in Ukraine, raised in Toronto, vocalist flowanastasia has been writing and recording music for over a decade. Growing up studying classical piano and singing in choirs, her vocals have graced releases on established labels like Critical, RAM, Shogun, Liquicity, MODUS, Viper and more. Genix & flowanastasia kicked off the year with their collaborative debut ‘Dependent On You’, which saw spins from Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1 and Ben Malone on Kiss FM. Now, they follow it up with the groove-laden ‘Lights, Sound, Camera, Action’.
