We will have a little break from the grammar study this week, because Aiko sensei came up with a quiz :) You know that Japanese people love katakana don’t you? It just sounds so much cooler than hiragana. グレー sounds nicer than 鼠色 (ねずみいろ). ヨンダブルディー sounds more technologically advanced than 四輪駆動 (よんりんくどう). (Not sure what happened to 4 but...) アイウエア sounds fancier that 眼鏡 (めがね). ゲリラ豪雨 (ごうう) much like than 集中豪雨 (しゅうちゅうごうう) right? (It’s not nice to ambush people but he is very popular on T-shirts.)
