Pioneering early computer animation work at the MIT Media Lab. Rather than being keyframe animated, the creatures seen here adapt their own gait to suit the terrain. Karl Sims later went on to produce mind-blowing animations such as “Panspermia“ at Thinking Machines Corporation.
