Hans van Eijck (ex-After Tea, ex-Tee Set) is the spiritual father of the occasional formation Abdul Hassan & Orchestra. Disguised as Arabs and supplemented with belly dancer Yonina, they perform Hans’ composition, ’Arabian Affair’.The theatrical act with the Abdul Hassan Orchestra, of which all other musicians are not known, scored an occasional Top 40 hit . A special vinyl disco version of the song also appeared with, in addition to Arabian Affair in five parts, also five other songs on the B-side.
