Pink Floyd at Live 8 HD (Full Set)

On 2 July 2005 Pink Floyd performed at the London Live 8 concert with Roger Waters rejoining David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. It was the quartet’s first performance together in over 24 years — the band’s last show with Waters was at Earls Court in London on 17 June 1981. At the end, after the last song had been played, Gilmour said “thank you very much, good night“ and started to walk off the stage. Waters called him back, however, and the band shared a group hug that became one of the most famous pictures of Live 8. As they proceeded to walk off, Nick Mason threw his drumsticks into the audience. With Wright’s subsequent death, in September 2008, this was to be the final concert to feature all four bandmates.
