Apple Newton MessagePad (1993) Start Up and Demonstration

Welcome back to Jason’s Macintosh Museum! As I mentioned in part 1 of the video series on the Apple Newton MessagePad, the early models were burdened with an extremely unreliable and inaccurate handwriting recognition system. How does the original Newton handle my extremely messy handwriting? I think you probably know the answer to that - but even I was not prepared for how bad it actually was!
