When Desert Backpacking Goes Wrong

Backpacking in the desert can be unforgiving. In my experience, its the trips that turn into a suffer fest that end up making awesome stories and teaching you valuable lessons. In this trip, we face multiple challenges, including dry water sources, injuries, and everyone in our group getting sick. In a soon to be released follow up to this video, I will show you how these problems could have been prevented, and general guidlines for backpacking in the desert. Kate and I (Jordan) live full time in our 16’ Scamp. We are both professional photographers and work seasonal jobs as outdoor guides. If you like backpacking, photography, rock climbing, water sports, van life, or travel, we do it all on this channel! Subscribe for more of our adventures!
